November 13 Seeing Red...And so "Gears of War" finally came out. O... M... G...
I've been playing it for a few days now and... as I said, I'm seeing red. And it's a beautiful one too. I love red... ahahaha...
The way this game implements tactical gameplay is just out there (no matter what the guy from EA Montreal says) Anywhere from the way you can take cover, the blind firing, to the way you can just "finish" your oponents... Man, you gotta play this.
The visuals of the game are just amazing, but really, with all the frantic action happening in front of you... you mix it up and you get an unforgettable experience.
Now, playing "versus" online changes the whole... tactics or whatever you might wanna call it. Playing against live oponents has no name. And some people are just crazy good at it! I died a lot, killed many, and chainsawed and curbstompted a few. ALL of them very gratifying moments, yes, even when it's me the one going down.
Is there a downside on this? Well, yes,... I can't play it while my kids are near me... which doesn't leave many moments for me to play... let's see how can I work around that.
November 02 HD on the move??Rumors have surfaced that Microsoft is about to unveil a plan in which we'll be able to download Full HD movies over Xbox Live!!!
The rumor goes as follows: Rental movies to run at $4, and Retail movies probably $10? I'll get more details soon, but hey, don't you think that will be awesome? That would turn my Xbox 360 into the central Hub of my living room!
Not only does the Xbox360 play video games in Full HD up to 1080p, it plays DVDs in 480p (progressive scan), It streams pictures/slideshows and plays songs/playlists directly from your computer! And not only that but it stream video too! (I have downloaded all samples of WMV HD videos I found here and man they look awesome on my HiDef TV.) (If nothing else, download those videos just to showcase the power of your 360!) Oh, and for $200 you'll be able to get yourself an HD-DVD add-on for your Xbox 360 and there you have it!
My 360 gives out so much... I love my 360!! :-D
Take my advice, go get yourself a Xbox 360, you WILL NOT regret it.
